Pink Puddle

Hi my name is Gillian and I'm a 49 year old wife, mum of two and grandma of one gorgeous little baby boy who will be 1 in April 2011.

I may be a gran but I'm a thoroughly modern gran, or like to think I am anyway.  I love writing and spend far too many hours on the internet.  

With me fast approaching 50 and my husband being 61, I suppose we're entering the umm........ autumn years of our life, but it needn't be depressing.  Autumn is a time of change but with plenty of warm days left.

Why the user name Pink Puddle? At the moment pink is associated with girly, youth, putting your femininity stamp on things and Puddle? Well we have plenty of those around here because its always raining but metaphorically speaking, a puddle is a bit like life the more you put into it the bigger it gets. Puddles can be shallow or deep depending on the underlying surface, they can seem black with hidden depths or they can reflect the clouds floating by up above and the sun brings out their shinyness before eventually drying them up.  So that's me - a pink puddle.
